1974 Plymouth Road Runner 2 Door Hardtop
This is for a 1974 Chrysler Plymouth 2 Door Hardtop "Real" Road Runner with the December 1973 dated 400 Engine with the 727 Automatic Transmission and a 440 replacement hood. It has power steering and front power disc brakes. It shows just under 45,000 miles. It originally had air conditioning, but the compressor and other parts were removed in the past, but they could be purchased and reinstalled. It has mostly original body panels, original seat belts, original mirrors, wheels, rings and center caps and brand new BFG Radial GT white letter P225/70R14" radial tires. The trunk is solid, still painted with the factory speckled trunk paint with the jack and a spare wheel with a new matching spare tire. It has a serpentine front belt drive with aluminum pulleys, flex fan, chrome valve covers with chrome Edelbrock breather caps, a chrome K & N air cleaner, a 6AL MSD ignition box, MSD Coil, MSD spark plug wires, an Edelbrock Intake with a freshly rebuilt Thermoquad, a chrome thermostat housing, a high stall convertor, a shift kit, headers, dual exhaust with Flowmaster Mufflers and a 3.23 rear axle. It has a fresh battery with a cable disconnect for long term storage. It appears well with only minor rust spots, see photos. All the rust repair could be done in a couple of days by a competent body shop. It has black cloth/vinyl bucket seats and the wood grain center console with the floor mounted slap shifter. The interior has been redone in black cloth and vinyl and the headliner has been redone. It had been stored in a dry garage for many years. We installed a rebuilt starter, a new gas tank, a fuel pump, a battery and rebuilt the carb so this car is now pretty much ready for you to finish and go cruising! It is currently licensed and we are driving it to shows and cruises. This is not a perfect show car, but it is a real nice fun driver and it sounds great with the Flowmasters and a cam.
